Astronomical sightlines in the Stonehenge area, United Kingdom

The solstitial orientation of several monuments in the Stonehenge area implies that several sightlines through the landscape were of significance to the builders. The putative lunar orientation of the station stone rectangle at Stonehenge may also have been significant, although the evidence is weaker.
